Endpoint win 10th ESL Premiership title, qualify for EPL Conference

Endpoint's domination of the UK scene continued, but they were made to work for it by Viperio.
Endpoint secured their 10th ESL Premiership title and 8th in a row by dispatching Viperio in a tight 3-2 game, also earning themselves a spot in the ESL Pro League Conference 17.
Even though Endpoint were playing with a stand-in in the form of Thomas "Thomas" Utting, the series was closer than many may have expected, with the first three maps all going to 29 rounds and the series itself going all five maps. Over 100 places separated the two sides in the world rankings before the game began.

Endpoint have spent much of 2022 hovering just outside the top 20, hitting their peak ranking of No. 24 with the current core in March. Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas departed the roster not long after said peak and since then the squad has undergone multiple changes, first bringing in Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye, then swapping Joey "CRUC1AL" Steusel for Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak, and finally releasing Kjaerbye and picking up Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko.
The team largely still managed to maintain a ranking in and around the top 30, only recently dropping out into the top 50 due to Kjaerbye's departure.

They secure themselves a spot in the ESL Pro League Season 17 Conference, where the likes of Outsiders, Imperial and Movistar Riders await. Endpoint qualified for ESL Pro League Season 16 via the Conference and beat Natus Vincere 2-0 in a notable upset win during that season, and will be hoping to repeat the feat once more.
Viperio sport a core of players that have been together since 2021 when they represented Coalesce, briefly peaking at No. 62 in the world in the month following their exit from that organisation at the beginning of 2022.
Since that time the squad has cemented itself as one of the best in the UK scene, recently defeating Into the Breach twice to claim regional trophies, first at the SteelSeries Nova Cup and later at the UKIC Beyond Summer Invitational.
